What's included?

We provide the finest equipment - being an Orvis endorsed fly fishing guide and field tester for Orvis for many years I've accumulated an incredible range of equipment to cover every fishing situation imaginable! We also provide a quality lunch and bottled water. If you have special dietary needs, please bring appropriate food for your needs.

All flies, leaders, tippets, terminal tackle are provided for your trip. We do provide high-end rods and reels, but feel free to bring your favorite rods along, too (4-6 wt. will cover all situations).

What's not included?

Your fishing license is not included - click here for the Wyoming regulations and fees. We do not provide waders or wading shoes. Wading shoes are used throughout the season, but waders are typically used in the cooler early spring (May and June) and fall. Shorts with wading shoes generally suffice in the hotter summer days.

What should I bring?

Although Wyoming summers are generally warm and mild, everyone is encouraged to be prepared. Light jackets and pullovers are items to have along for cool mornings. We have on board Coast Guard approved life jackets. It's a good idea to bring along a rain jacket or poncho in the event of a cloudburst. If you have binoculars bring them, along with a camera and lots of film. Sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, hats, and wading shoes are a must, but waders are only necessary for spring and fall fishing.

How will transportation to and from the river work?

We will provide transportation to and from the river of choice from a designated meeting place.

Is there a minimum age for children?

We welcome children who are able to follow directions. Some 4-year-olds have matured to that point, and on the other hand some 5-year-olds have not matured to that point. Because every child develops differently, we feel that as their parents you are best able to decide if your child is ready to safely enjoy a float trip on the river!
